The Spark Notes Guide To Getting Your Sexy Back!

Let’s face it, things just aren’t the same anymore.  You’re no longer that high school kid who could devour everything in front of him and still have a flat stomach or the frat bro who played intramural sports during the week and and pounded beers into the weekend.  You have responsibilities now, you have a career or on track towards one.   No more trying to impress the bait on those bar hopping night with you buddies.  You find yourself taking your relationship more seriously, if you haven’t already jumped broom.   Then one morning you notice it, you look in the mirror and you realize the present you has ate the prime you!  And you’re not liking what you see in the reflection.

Stop pouting, because we got you!  We’re about to give you a crash course on getting your sexy back!  To help you turn that fat ass into a bad ass!

1. Mindset


First things, first, you have to get your mind right!  Nothing else will matter if you’re still going to whine, complain, and cry like a little bitch!  Stand up straight, walk with your chest out.  You’re the top dog, you’re the alpha male!  You’re sexy, and you know, and now it’s time for everyone else to know it as well!  Think positive about yourself.  There is a better you in there, and the only way for it to come out is if you help push it to the surface.  Thinking negatively about yourself and consistently belittling yourself, is like holding the better you’s head under water.  You need to let that man breath!  Be your own support system and pat yourself on the back every once in awhile.  Smile more, look people in the eyes and start saying “Hi!” to people.  Trust me, people will notice a positive change in you, once you start making it for yourself.

2. Diet


I swear, once we move out of our parent’s house, our eating habits go to shit.  It’s so easy and convenient to role through the drive through to grab something real quick.  I’m not saying you need to start only eating rabbit food, I’m telling you, you need to be more aware of what you’re putting into your body.  When all you do is put junk in your body, it is the same as putting a bunch of junk around your house.  Junk just starts to pile up and the room (your body) starts to look unappealing.  You want to look better, get rid of the junk, it’s as simple as that!  Start eating more fruits and vegetables, more lean meats, chicken, and fish.

Also don’t get caught up in the latest food trends.  Just remember the basics, eat plenty deep greens and colorful vegetables, fruits, lean cuts of beef, chicken, and fish.  Trust me, there is nothing natural, about all natural potato chips.  Unless you have Celiac disease, don’t worry about your food being gluten free.  Try to avoid processed foods, a safe beat is to do most of your shopping along the outer perimeter of the grocery store.  Once you start eating, you will start to feel better.

3. Exercise


I’m not staying you need to have a body of a model, but you should definitely start becoming more active.  Start slow, there is no need to dive in head first when your only at the shallow end.  Join a gym, a real gym.  A gym where there are a lot of grunts and groans, and people dropping weights.  Working out around people with bodies that look better than yours should motivate you to get in better shape, also if you don’t know how to proper use a machine, you can as for help or find a personal trainer.  If you’re too shy to head to the gym, there are plenty of home works on the internet you can do.  Start a new sports hobby, like biking or if you live in a city there a ton of social sports you can play.  The point is to get your body moving, the more your body is moving, the more calories you are burning and the more calories you are burning the less calories you have to turn into fat.

4. Appearances


They say never judge a book by it’s cover, but sometimes a good book has a good cover.  Plus why can’t you have both?  I’m not saying you need to go out and spend top dollar on designer brands, all I am saying is get clothing that flatters your body type.  Plus who doesn’t like a well dressed man!  Get a proper haircut, if you have a beard keep it clean and trimmed.  A lot of people associate appearance with how well a person takes care of themselves.  Your outside you is a reflection of the inside you.  So let people know how good looking your inside self is!
